How the signal works
Each decade is a curated pool of public third-party embeds, arranged so one Power press starts a continuous channel.
1. Choose a decade
A decade page loads the matching years and channel categories. Year and category controls narrow the pool without leaving the television console.
2. Start the set
Power loads the selected clip and requests playback. When a video ends, the next eligible entry is tuned automatically. Previous, Next and Random remain available for manual surfing.
3. Handle weak signals
Embeds can disappear, become private or be blocked by an uploader. The player skips known failures and remembers unavailable IDs in the current browser so they are less likely to interrupt later sessions.
How clips are selected
Catalog entries require an identifiable YouTube video ID, category, decade and year. Automated checks remove malformed and duplicate records; editorial review is used for date and category fit.
